A study published in Nature focuses on the repeated vocalizations young bats make, which help them develop the ability to make sounds they carry into adulthood. Led by a Berlin Museum of Natural History animal behavioral ecologist, the study involved recording more than 200 “babbling bouts” by greater sac-winged bats in Panama and Costa Rica. Ultrasonic equipment was employed to catch individual syllables contained within bat pups’ high-pitched squeals. The quakes occurred in Cerberus Fossae, a volcanic region of the planet that is the origin of two previous large quakes that occurred in February of 2020 and measured magnitudes of 3.6 and 3.5 on the Richter scale. Astronomers Discover that Stars Can Be Ejected from Home Galaxy

The Chandra X-ray Observatory recorded data from the Fornax Cluster over a 16-year period.
